It’s been slow going…but now 4 (now 5) years later, I’m happy to say we are in FULL BLOWN REBUILD MODE!

Won’t you come along and see how we do it.

I hope more than anything…we get to camp soon!

Oh yes, and leave a comment, and let me know you visited…. I love to read them and will answer each one!

Camper Progress~

Over the summer we've been busy collecting things for the camper.

Early on, I went to a yard sale and found this great 3 burner hot plate for only $20 or $25, I can't remember the exact cost.
We're going to build it in with it's own space and hopefully have a cover over the top for extra counter space when not in use.

The other thing we acquired for the camper was a pretty good stack of plywood.
It's all about 1/4 inch thickness or so and will make great cabinets! We've been trying to come up with a floor plan that will work best for our little camper -- we still have no idea what type of camper this is or what year. So I'm not certain of an original floor plan.

So though it's been too brutally hot here to actually do any real work--we HAVE been busy researching , collecting and laying some ground work!

AND we still have a shell of a camper.

How ‘Bout Orange?

This is me dinkin’ round with LIVE WRITER~  car show 2011

YES!  it’s more car show pictures. car show 2011

   Nice ‘VETTE. car show 2011

This is what I’ve learned about Live Writer (with the help of my friend Gail @ My Repurposed Life) car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 038

She has so graciously agreed to---ehem… well really, I tracked her down and made her help me.

You can upload pictures and give them lots of different frames and layouts. For instance this picture looks like an instant photo. car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 081

While some of them look like they have been laid down on the paper and have a shadow behind them~   car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 180 car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 179

… some may have frames around them, too. car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 112 car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 106 car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 107    Check out that matching luggage. car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 108    The picture can look like photo paper and even have a water mark on them. car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 109    You can also round the corner and give them that softer look ~ car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 110   …or they can have a really cool ‘reflection’ Which I happen to like on this particular car…to remind me  of the past like I’m looking back!  car show 2011 beets mother's day Ricci 111

Isn’t that cool?

So how about Orange?   My personal favorite was the Bel-Aire with the matching luggage.  I like they way some of the die-hard car show enthusiasts stage their vehicles.

Well done.

I know you’re probably sick of seeing car show pictures.   But this post was mainly about Live Writer and me testing it out.

Thanks for letting do that and Thanks for reading!

Thanks Gail for all your help and tutoring with Live Writer.

More Car Show: The 'COOL' hot color!

These are more pictures of the car show.
Turquoise and Cool Blues were very HOT! that day-- and quite a few of the vehicles caught my eye!
I guess I didn't realize how many were in the BLUE SPECTRUM  until I downloaded my photos.

* Again, let me say- these cars were really packed in so; Me being the not-so-savvy-photographer and cramped quarters-- the pictures are NOT quite as good as I'd like.
But I just love this color!

 Blue Pony.

I liked everything about this truck right down to the White Walls!
Can't get enough of that chrome!
 Beautiful Truck!
I talked to the owner of this Thunderbird-- he re-did his car himself.
Amateur paint job. But very nicely done.
 The inside-- Sweet!
Room for a party inside.
 A cruiser for sure!

The Way.
Under the Hood.

 Little G.T. Oh My Goodness!
I think this was my favorite Muscle Car of the day.
Don't get me wrong-- there were lots of Ponies there that Day... but the GTO, man- you gotta love it!

 Blue Book ends!

 I Loved this little Ranchero.
I talked with the owner for quite a few minutes. She enjoyed restoring this little car/truck.  She said she shopped around for just the right color of  Turquoise and took it personally to the paint and body guy to paint it. There she is sitting in her chair.
She paid particular attention to detail and added little 'pops' of turquoise throughout.
Love that bread box. You could have a picnic in the bed of this truck right on the beach!
Then I asked if I could get her picture.  She was just the cutest thing in her Ranchero get-up with turquoise jeans! The Lady Ranchero and her Ranchero!
I think this was my favorite.  The Falcon Ranchero.
And lastly another muscle car.

There are still plenty of car pictures to show.
I'll post them periodically.  I don't want to bore you with all of them at once.
I haven't forgotten this is supposed to be a blog about my TIN Can--

Which by the way, I'd love to see painted with a sweet Turquoise Stripe down the side--
But if you've read my other blog (maybe you have maybe you haven't) But Honey (aka: the husband) recently had a TRIPLE BYPASS-- and so all projects are currently on hold.

I hope to do a few things slowly with the camper. But for now-- my days are filled nursing my man back to good health!

Thanks for reading.
